The first batch of beer that Leighanne and I have made is now ready for consumption. We made a Porter and it turned out really well. Anyone who wants to come by and try one should feel free to do so. If you can't make it right now but will be around for the holidays, holla and I'll put one back for you. Hopefully we will start our next batch of this weekend. This next beer will be a style of Leighanne's choosing since I chose the Porter.Also, if you are in town on Dec. 27th, the Alfords will be leading the tours at the Diamond Bear Brewery. You should come in for an informative tour and a few sample beers. A warning: If you heckle us on the tour we won't feel bad about dunking you in some boiling vats of water.
